Private label body care manufacturer
Lotions, body butters, scrubs and body wash for brands in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the Caribbean
Amostimeline is a private label body care manufacturer in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. We formulate, fill and label lotions, body butters, scrubs, body wash and body oils for your brand, starting at 240 units per product. You work directly with the chemical engineer who develops the formula.
When you search for a private label body care supplier, you mostly find two options: U.S. wholesale catalogs that sell stock formulas with your label, and overseas factories with high minimums. There is a useful middle ground, and this page explains what it looks like and how to judge it.
Stock, custom or something in between?
| Wholesale catalog (white label) | Overseas factory | Amostimeline | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum order | Very low | Often thousands | 240 units per product |
| Formula | Their stock formula | Stock or custom, through agents | 100+ proven formulas, or custom development |
| Fragrance and texture changes | Limited | Possible, with long lead times | Adjusted with your samples |
| Samples | Quick | Weeks to months | 3–7 business days |
| Shipping to Florida / Puerto Rico | Domestic | Long ocean freight | Short route |
| Language | English | Through agents | Spanish and English |
A wholesale catalog can be the right first step if you just want to test a label with very little money. It stops being enough once you want a texture, scent or claim that is really yours. See how to start your own beauty brand.
What we make
| Product | What matters technically |
|---|---|
| Body lotion and cream | Light, non-greasy feel in humid climates; a validated preservative system |
| Body butter | Melting point and shipping heat; preventing graininess in shea butter |
| Body scrub | Stopping the oil and grain from separating; water getting into the jar in the shower |
| Body wash | Mild cleansing, viscosity and fragrance stability |
| Body oil | Light oils, resistance to going rancid |
| Cream deodorant | Sensitivity and claims; aluminum-based products are a different category |
| Foot care | Urea creams, callus removers and massage creams |
Body care sells best when products work together. A set of scrub, wash and butter in one scent raises the order value and works well for gifts. For facial products, see our private label skin care page.
Regulatory basics for the U.S. and Puerto Rico
As the brand owner, you carry important responsibilities, including under the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA). You should plan for product listing, safety substantiation, adverse event records and correct labeling. Our facility is FDA-registered (FEI 3015135152), and we provide the technical information your listing needs.
Watch these lines, because crossing them can turn a cosmetic into a drug:
- SPF claims: a body lotion with sun protection claims is an OTC drug in the U.S.
- Antiperspirants: “reduces sweating” is an OTC drug claim. A deodorant that just controls odor is a cosmetic. We cover the details in deodorant, antiperspirant or anti-chafing claims (Spanish).
- Treatment claims: “cures eczema,” “treats psoriasis” or “eliminates stretch marks” are not cosmetic claims.
- Microbeads: plastic microbeads in rinse-off cosmetics are banned in the U.S.

- What documents do I receive for product listing?
- Do I talk to a chemist or only to a salesperson?
